Virtual environment.

Live-action.

LIVE ACTION + CGI

Virtual production is an emerging method that uses a suite of hardware & software tools to combine live-action footage and computer graphics in real-time.

HOW IT WORKS

Using Unreal Engine 4 & Cinema 4D our options for creative sets & environments are only limited by our imagination.

For mixing live-action with a virtual set, we use a LED wall, or projector studio to display the environment behind the subject.

We then use motion sensors on our video camera which animates the projected environment in realtime behind the subject. This makes the scene look hyper-realistic from the camera's perspective.

ANIMATION

We can also animate characters using the same Motion capture technology used on major movie productions.

Using our motion capture rig, we can fully track an actor's movements from subtle finger movements, jumping over an object, to full facial expressions, all real-time in our studio.

Movies out today like Lion KingPacific Rim, and Mandalorian — are using this same technology that allows studios like us to combine virtual reality and CGI with live-action filming.
